“Mano or Pagmamano” also known as “Bless” is a Filipino culture performed as a sign of respect and as a way of accepting a blessing from the elders; “Kaawaan Ka Ng Diyos”, “Patnubayan Ka Nawa Ng Diyos”.
Rene Tinapay a.k.a. Simon Isagani (his artist name) is an Independent singer/songwriter who was born in Davao City but based in Sydney, Australia since 1989. Simon loves Folk, Mellow Rock and Country Music. He started as a folk singer during Folk houses era in 70’s in Davao City and Cebu City, covering songs of James Taylor, John Denver, Don Maclean, Cat Stevens and Bob Dylan to name a few. He plays guitar and harmonica. He started writing songs early in high school but didn’t take it seriously then until early year 2000. he has written songs about love, social issues, about politics, diminishing Filipino culture and environment.

Pagkat ang pangaral, tandang Ika’y mahal
Ang halik ng Ama sa noo ng anak
Pabulong na dampi, pag-ibig na tapat

Dorie Reyes Polo, also known as Dorcas Poloczek was born on December 29, 1955 at Barangay Talon, Amadeo, Cavite, Philippines. The youngest among fourteen (14) children of Primo Montoya Reyes, a furniture maker, and Mercedes Villanueva Bautista, Poloczek studied at Talon Elementary School, Tagaytay City Institute High School and St. Anthony’s School in Batangas City and Philippine Christian University in Dasmariñas, Cavite, all schools in the Philippines.
Dorcas is a midwife, nurse and integrated medicine practitioner. She also studied, worked and got married in Germany and has two sons. In 1996, she went back to the Philippines and established an environment-friendly organization but returned to Germany in 2002 where she now resides. Poloczek was a former member of Babaylan Germany/Philippine Women Forum, erstwhile Auditor and Treasurer in 2016-18 of PhilNetz and ENFID Germany, respectively and currently Auditor of ENFID Europe.
Dorcas is a passionate poet and “always a greenhorn” singer since her youth despite her figuring in heart attack in 2014 to her recuperation. In 2018, she was the Philippine rep, the only senior and non-professional contestant, among eighteen (18) countries, to join ENFID Europe AGA Paris and won grand prize, hands down, with her singing poetry.
